are quite a few typos. Her middle initial should be
"A", as her middle name is Ann. Her brother's last
name should be Benbow. Her husband's first name
is Laban. His full name was Laban Nathan Modlin.

Mrs. Julia N. Modlin,
wife of Lavin Modlin, passed away Sunday morning at her home
in Greenleaf. She was 69 years old and a member of the
Friends church at Greenleaf.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Jennie
LaRue of Freewater, Ore.; two brothers, Nathan Bendow of
Greenleaf, and Charles Bendow of Burrock, Ka.; four sisters,
Mrs. James Jones, Mrs. Charity Pierson of Burrock; Mrs.
Amanda Gregory of Tonganoxie, Kas., and Mrs. Urah Keever of
Hutchinson, Kas.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at the Friend's church at
Greenleaf at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Luther
Addington will officiate assisted by Rev. Leonard Cravel.
Burial will be in Greenleaf. |
