Joseph Aschenbrenner

     Joseph Aschenbrenner, 87, of Nampa, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1992, at his home.  Vigil services will be celebrated at 8 p.m. today at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev. Father Alfred Puccinelli, S.M.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
     Joseph was born Oct. 5, 1904, at Stratford, Wis., the eldest child of Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Wenzel Aschenbrenner.  He began his schooling in Wisconsin, then moved with his family to Idaho Falls in 1912 where he completed his schooling.  The family moved to Nampa in February 1922, and settled on a farm on West Roosevelt Avenue where he has lived and farmed for 70 years.
     He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
     He is survived by six brothers, Albert of Upland, Calif., George of Nampa, Rudolph of Twin Falls, Anthony of Portland, Ore., Leonard of Meridian and William of Stockton, Calif.; two sisters, Teresa and Marie Aschenbrenner, both of Nampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     His parents and four brothers, Rupert, Edward, Frank and John preceded him in death.
     Memorials may be given to the Hospice Services, c/o Mercy Medical Center, Nampa; St. Paul's Catholic School, Nampa; or flowers may be sent.
