Izelle Budell

     Izelle B. Budell, 88, of Nampa died Saturday, May,9, 1992, at the Nampa hospital.  Vigil services will be celebrated at 8 p.m. today, May 11, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, by the Rev. Father Francis Springer, S.M.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
     Izelle was born April 11, 1904, at Nashua, Iowa, a daughter of John O. and Esther Bissonnette Bullen.  She moved with her family to Mountain Home in 1912.  She attended school at Mountain Home and at St. Teresa's Academy in Boise.  The family moved to Nampa in 1925 where she met and later married Joseph F. Budell Nov. 3, 1927, in Nampa.  They made their home and farmed in the Bennett community south of Nampa for over thirty years until moving to Nampa in 1960.  Mr. Budell died Feb. 22, 1974.
     She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, St. Paul's Altar Society and the Legion of Mary.
     Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, V. Lee and Terry Budell of Salt Lake City, and Carl A. and Carole Budell of Nampa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Howard Whittig of Caldwell, and Mary and Cy Lootens of Marsing; a brother, LaVern Bullen of Othello, Wash.; a sister, Mary Louise Schey of Orofina; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Paul, and two brothers.
     Memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels program or the Mercy Hospice service, both of c/o Mercy Medical Center, 1512 12th Ave. Road, Nampa, 83686; or flowers may be sent.
     Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
