Henry Schramm, route
1, Wilder, died in a Caldwell hospital this morning.
He was born Feb. 3, 1862, at Bavaria, Germany, and is
survived by three sisters; Kunigunda Maurer, route 1, Wilder;
Barbara Bock and Anna Jeske of Cincinnati, O. He was a
member of the Odd Fellows' lodge at Wilder.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday, April 14,
at Peckham's funeral parlor. Rev. Beasley of Wilder will
preach the funeral sermon, and interment will be in the Wilder
ceremony.
Mr. Schramm was 19 when he came to the United States.
He moved to Cincinnati where he remained five years. He
joined the gold rush to Alaska in 1891, and later lived in
Jordan Valley and Boise. He drove a freight wagon from
Boise to Jordan Valley. In 1915 he moved to the Fargo
community. |
