Services for Harry
Jurgens, 62, of Homedale, who died Thursday at Moses Lake,
Wash., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis
chapel with the Rev. Eldon C. Hunter of Adrian, Ore., Free
Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in
Wilder.
Mr. Jurgens was born at Pontiac, Ill., Nov 16, 1897.
He moved to Nebraska in 1916. Following his military
release after World War I, he went to work for the Union
Pacific in Utah. He was married in Cedar City, Utah,
March 22, 1930. Two years later the couple moved to
Ogden where he worked for a construction company. They
moved to Ridgeview, Ore., near Homedale in 1941.
He attended the Free Methodist church at Adrian and he
was a member of the Masonic lodge at Cedar City.
In addition to his wife, Mrs. Ann Jurgens, Homedale, he
is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harl Fisher of Moses
Lake, Mrs. David Haylett of Homedale, and Mrs. John Hanley of
Seattle, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Whitney of
San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Marie Posorske of Clarrisa,
Minn., Mrs. Hugo Posorke, Worthington, Jinn., and Mrs. Otto
Posorske of Brown Lake, Minn., and six grandchildren. |
