   Funeral Services Will be
Held at Roswell Wednesday
       for Mrs. O. M. Soper

                                ___________

     Mrs. Hattie B. Soper, 61, wife of O. M. Soper, died at her home in Caldwell early Tuesday morning.  She was one of the early settlers of Roswell and has been a resident of Caldwell for many years.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon.  A short service will be held at the Peckham funeral chapel at 1:30 o'clock, to be attended by friends of Caldwell and community, who will not be able to attend the main service, which will be held at 3 o'clock at the Presbyterian church in Roswell.  Interment will be in the Roswell cemetery.
     Mrs. Soper was born November 6, 1865, at Winona, Minn.  She is survived by her husband, O. M. Soper of Caldwell; a son, D. J. Soper of Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs. W. H. Jordan of Caldwell; 14 grandchildren and two brothers, Ernest O. Paine of Wilder and Charles E. Paine of Fruitland.
