Genoveva Garcia

    Genoveva A. Garcia, 93, of Nampa, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1994, at her home of cancer. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. today, Aug. 14, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa, with the Rev. Father Paul Mathews, S.M., of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, presiding.
    Mrs. Garcia was born Jan. 3, 1901, at San Marcos, Texas, a daughter of Regino and Viviana Fabela Alvarado. She grew up and attended school in Texas. She married Jose Garcia Aug. 27, 1916, in Lampasos, Texas and they made their home in Texas. Mr. Garcia died in September, 1966. She moved to Nampa in November, 1991, to live with her daughter, Maria.
    She was a member of the Catholic Church.
    Survivors include a son Raymundo Garcia of La Mesa, Texas; three daughters, Natalia Garza and Herlinda Santiago, both of Runge, Texas, and Maria Salinas of Nampa; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter,

    Friends may call at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, from 1 to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday and may meet at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. for services.
