Frank Doi

    Frank Doi, 73, of Parma, died Friday, October 2, 1992, at Kirpatrick memorial Community Church in Parma.  Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Frank was born April 26, 1919, in Kent, Washington. He lived there until he and his father were evacuated away from the coastal areas by the U.S. government during World War II.  He moved to Parma in the early 1940s where he farmed in Roswell.  He was drafted in the U.S. Army in 1946 and served overseas until 1947.  Following his discharge from the Army, Frank served in the Civil Service in Okinawa.  There he met and married his wife, Humie.  They returned to Parma in 1948 and farmed in the Roswell area until his death.
    Frank is survived by his wife, Humie of Parma; a son, Gary of Parma; a daughter, Nancy of Boise; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Ron Kikuchi of Grover City, California; and three grandchildren, Michelle, Kerry and Craig.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
