Frank L. Steinhaus

     Services for Frank L. Steinhaus, 76 of Parma, who died Thursday at a Nampa nursing home following an extended illness, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Parma Church of the Nazarene.  The Rev. M. W. Kemper of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Harold E. Walker of the Parma Church of the Nazarene.  Interment will be in the Parma Cemetery under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
     Mr. Steinhaus was born Feb. 27, 1883, at Lincoln, Kan., and when 17 years of age went to Craigmont, Idaho.  He married Ruth Davis at La Center, Wash., in 1908.  In 1922 they moved to Ontario, Ore., and in 1936 to Nyssa, Ore., and in 1936 moved they moved to Parma where he had since made his home.
     Mrs. Steinhaus preceded him in death on June 5, 1955, at Parma.
     He was a retired farmer and a member of the Parma Church of the Nazarene.
     Survivors include three sons, Raymond Steinhaus, Nampa, Dean and Kenneth Steinhaus, both of Parma;  six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Leavitt, Ontario, Ore., Mrs. Thelma Young, North Powder, Ore., Mrs. Opal Bratcher, Parma, Mrs. Eva Tibbett, Eureka, Calif., Mrs. Lola Higgins, Mills, Wyo., and Mrs. Carol Pringle, Willow Springs, Mo.;  43 grandchildren, three brothers, Edward Steinhaus, Spokane, Wash., Charles Steinhaus, Kennewick, Wash., and Fred Steinhaus, Lewiston, Idaho;  two sisters, Mrs. L??? Daylong, Clarkston, Wash., and Mrs. Tillie McCoy, Spokane, Wash.
