Funeral
services for Florine H. Bettis, 63, of 2115 Circle Drive,
Caldwell, who died of natural causes Wednesday at home, will
be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Dakan Funeral Chapel,
Caldwell, by the Rev. Ray Thompson of United Methodist Church,
Caldwell. Interment will follow in Canyon Hill Cemetery,
Caldwell. She was born Nov. 20, 1917, in Wessington
Springs, S.D., where she was reared and educated. She
moved to Caldwell in 1936 and graduated from Caldwell High
School. She married Mel Bettis on July 9, 1939, in
Caldwell. She was a member of the United Methodist
Church and PEO Chapter F.
She is survived by her husband of Caldwell; a son, Gary
of Boise; a granddaughter, Christine of Boise; a sister,
Bonnidine Shafer of Caldwell; three nieces; and two nephews.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to Mountain States Tumor Institute,
Boise, or to United Methodist Church, Caldwell. |
