Roland Lojoie, S.M., will be the celebrant. Burial will
follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
Mr. Chavez was born Dec. 19, 1921, at Hoehne, CO, a son of
Frank and Benita Tapia Chavez. He grew up and attended
grade school in Colorado. He married Adelina Mary
Marquez on June 24, 1940, at Grand Junction, CO., where they
made their home until moving to Idaho in the early '40s where
they started their family.
Some of Dad's happiest moments were the times he spent
hunting and fishing with his sons and friends in the outdoors
that he loved so much. His happiest moments were the
times he spent surrounded by his wife and family. Even
though our mother, brothers and sisters feel we have lost one
of the most important parts of our family, we know our father
has joined the greatest family of all, the family of Eternal
life in the Kingdom of God. This brings comfort to our
hearts, and hope to our souls, to know one day all of us will
inherit the Kingdom of God, and be together as one family once
again.
He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa. |
