Edra Dorris

    Services for Edra V. Dorris, 76, of Wilder, who died Wednesday, April 1, at the Caldwell hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
    The Rev. Paul Nickens of the Revival Center Church, Parma, will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Wilder Cemetery.
    Mrs. Dorris was born May 8, 1910, in Missouri, where she was reared and educated.
    She married Charley Owens in 1925 in Missouri.  He died a few years later.
    She married Colman Dorris at Hartville, Mo., in 1936.  In 1944, they moved to the Wilder area, where they had since resided.
    She enjoyed sewing and raising flowers.
    She is survived by her husband of Wilder; four sons, Delaway Owens of California, and Franklin, Bobby and Farris Dorris, all of Wilder; four daughters, Alvetta Baty of Springfield, Mor., Norma Smallwood of Notus, Alma Dorris of Homedale and Charline Thompson of Caldwell; a stepdaughter, Virginia Taylor of Los Angeles; a sister, Bell Marcum of Hartville; 21 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson.
    Friends may call Wednesday from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Homedale Flahiff chapel.
