Loses Life In
Accident Today |

Ernest McGuire of
Wilder died today shortly after he was taken to a Nampa
hospital following an accident which occured one-half mile
west of Wilder at 12:30 this morning. McGuire who was
driving a motorcycle had a head-on collision with Claude
Watkins who was driving a truck toward Wilder. Watkins
received no injuries. |

Ernest Thomas McGuire
who died several hours after an accident near Wilder was born
July 7, 1921 at Cherryville, Kansas. He has resided near
Wilder for the last seven years.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
McGuire of Wilder; two brothers, Emmett McGuire of
Cherryville, Kansas, and Edward McGuire of Portland; three
sisters, Roxie Wood, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Edith Padget,
Columbus, Ohio; and Ernstine McGuire, Albuquerque; three
step-sisters, Blanche Noeman, Wilder; Pearl Willhite, Chicago,
and Ione Griffin, Chicago. No funeral arrangements have
been made. |
