Evelyn J. Cantrell

     BOISE – Services for Evelyn Jones Cantrell, 53, of 2120 West Jefferson, who died of natural causes Monday in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Relyea Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Mack McCray Jr., First Baptist Church.  Interment will be in Middleton Cemetery.
     She was born March 21, 1924, in Boise, the daughter of Walter T. and Edna Bixby Rutledge.  She was reared and educated in Boise, and attended San Diego Business College.
     She married Edward T. Jones June 2, 1940.  She worked for the State of Idaho Insurance Fund, the Royal Restaurant and The Mode, Ltd.
     Surviving are a son, Walter Jones, Tempe, Ariz.; her mother, Edna Rule, Boise; a grandmother, Grace Bixby, Caldwell; two grandchildren Robyn and John Paul Hones, Tempe; and numerous aunts and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Rutledge.
     Friends may call at Relyea Funeral Chapel today until 8:30 p.m., and Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
     Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
