Mrs. Effie Kitchin,
63, of 703 Freeport St., Caldwell, died Saturday en route from
Parma to a Caldwell hospital.
Mrs. Kitchin was born March 18, 1896, in Lewellen,
Neb., and was reared in Nebraska and was married at Columbus,
Neb., to James Kitchin, on Dec. 17, 1910.
They came to Idaho in 1936, and in 1942 they moved to
Stanfield, Ore., returning to Caldwell four years later.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of
Scottsbluff, Neb.
Survivors include her husband, James Kitchin; a
daughter, Mrs. Edith Olson, Parma; four sons, James of
Caldwell, Earl of Brownlee, Ore., Lester and Donald, both of
Boise; a brother, James Northrop, of Caldwell;
three sisters, Mrs. Rose Quincy, of Alameda, Calif., Mrs.
Alice Bruner of Omaha, Neb., and Mrs. Bernice Valbreck, North
Platte, Neb.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at
the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The Rev. Harold N. Nye
will officiate. Interment will be in Canyon Hill
Cemetery. |
