Services for Ethel
M. Dines, 81. of Homedale Route 1, who died Thursday, May 19
at a Caldwell hospital of natural causes will be conducted at
2 p.m. Monday May 23 at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma by
Elder Roger Bierwagen of the Seventh- Day Adventist Church,
Homedale. Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery.
She was born June 6, 1901 at Pocatello. She moved to
Albion, where she was reared and educated. After school she
moved back to Pocatello and went to work as a nurse. She later
moved to Parma and worked as a nurse.
She married Bill Plagar May 3, 1923 in Parma. Her husband
died in December of 1963. She then moved to Boise for a few
years and met and later married George W. Dines in December of
1965. She had resided in Homedale since her marriage to Mr.
Dines. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church,
Homedale.
She is survived by her husband in Homedale; one daughter,
Darlene Ramsey of Mountain Home; four grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; two step-sons; three step-daughters; nine
step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren; one
sister, Eleanor Friest of Coos Bay, Ore.; and one brother,
Charles Henderson of Vancouver, Wash. She was preceded in
death by a daughter, a brother and a sister.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Seventh Day
Adventist Church, Homedale, or to a favorite charity. Friends
may call at the Parma Chapel today from 5 to 8 p.m. |
