Ernest Leland Mason,42, of 321 Aven St., died yesterday in a
local hospital. He was born April 15, 1921, at Caldwell.
He attended Caldwell Schools and had lived here all of
his life. He and his father operated the Caldwell Taxi Co.,
until he retired one and a half years ago because of ill
health.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine, Caldwell; two daughters,
Miss Janice Kay Mason, Boise, and Mrs. Denice Humphreys, of
Caldwell; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Mason, Caldwell;
a step-daughter, Mrs. Margaret Phrall, Seattle, Wash., and
three step-sons, Jerry Kester, U.S. Air Force, in England,
Wayne Kester, San Jose, Calif., and Paul Kester, Caldwell.
Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tomorrow at the
Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The rev. Ralph Holcomb and Elder
Ralph W. Martin will officiate. Interment will be in Canyon
Hill. |
