Services for Eula E. Baker Cannon, 77, Caldwell, who died
Friday, Jan. 18, in a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted
at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Father Raul Covarrubias of St. Mary’s Catholic Church
will officiate. Private interment will follow in the Parma
Cemetery, Parma.
Mrs. Cannon was born Nov. 18, 1907, at Henderson, Colo.,
to Mark and Pruda Gilpin Morris. She was reared and educated
in Henderson and attended high school at Brighton, Colo.
She married Addison Baker Oct. 31, 1928, at Littleton,
Colo. The couple made their home in Homedale from 1947 until
1957. They later lived in Caldwell and then in El Cajon,
Calif. She returned to Idaho and located in Nampa, where she
married Moses Cannon. She continued to live in Nampa until
moving to Caldwell in 1983. Mr. Cannon died in 1977.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Al Virginia Jereb,
Caldwell, and Esther Ann O’Reilly of San Mateo, Calif.; two
brothers, Mark L. Morris of Naples, Fla., and Lester Morris of
Henderson, Colo.; a sister Marguerite Stepnowski of San Jose,
Calif.; six grandchildren, Linda Harrison of Caldwell, Janet
Hurlbert of Panama City, Fla., Edward Jereb of Modesto,
Calif., R. Wayne Proctor of San Mateo, Kathy Butler of San
Mateo, and Patricia Butler of Columbia, S.C.; 10 great
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two
children.
Friends may call until 8 tonight and Tuesday from 9 a.m.
until 1 p.m. at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. |
