Rosary for
Elias D. "El Catan" Beltran, 56, of Nampa, who died Saturday,
Sept. 12, will be recited at 8 ;.m. today at Flahiff Funeral
Chapel, Nampa, by the Rev. Mauricio Medina of Our Lady of
Guadalupe Catholic Church, Nampa.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, by the Rev.
Merle J. Fisher, S.M. Burial will follow in Mount
Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
Mr. Beltran was born Dec. 28, 1930, at Monterrey, Nuevo Leon,
Mexico, to Regino and Josepha Ramos Beltran and was reared and
attended school in Mexico.
He immigrated to California in 1966 and worked in the timber
industry there. He moved to Nampa in 1974.
He married Carmen Chavez Granados Sept. 16, 1980, at Caldwell
and they made their home in Nampa. He worked for the J.R.
Simplot Co. in Caldwell for several years.
He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; seven stepsons, Mike
Camario and Victor Granados, both of Nampa, Eloy and Jimmy
Granados, both of Caldwell, Louis Camario of San Jose, Calif.,
Roy and Richard Camario, both of Houston, Texas; six
stepdaughters, Beatrice Valenzulla, Carmen Tamayo, both of
Nampa, Pauline Hererra, Mary Aguirre and Anna Camario, all of
San Jose, Calif., and Dominga Ruiz of Houston, Texas; a
brother, Raul Beltran of San Jose, Calif. 30 grandchildren; 14
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. |
