Funeral Services
Held Today for
Mrs. Crosswhite


     Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Eugenia Catherine Crosswhite, who passed away Thursday afternoon at her home in Caldwell.  Dr. H. H. Hyman officiated and interment was in the Parma cemetery.
     She was born January 16, 1856, at Johnston county, Tennessee where she spent her girlhood and where, in 1885 she was married.  In 1918, the family moved to Parma, and 1927 to Caldwell where they have resided since.  Mrs. Crosswhite was 87 at the time of her death.
     Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Lewis of Caldwell, and Mrs. Julia McDonald of Nyssa; a son I. H. Crosswhite of Los Angeles, Cal.; a stepson, Thomas Crosswhite of Parma and a stepdaughter, Mrs. L. Wilson of Parma; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
