Services for Dennis Leroy
Baldwin, 35, of Parma, who died Thursday, March 1, 1990, at
the Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday,
March 5, at the Midway Bible Missionary Church 3200 E. Ustick
Road, Caldwell. Pastor Paul Dodd will officiate. Interment
will follow at the Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of
the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Dennis was born Oct. 8, 1954, in Caldwell, a son of
Lawrence and Marjie Breshears Baldwin, and was reared and
educated in the Notus area. He graduated from Notus
High School in 1973
where he was active in athletics, especially football. He
married Cynthia Holmes June 1, 1973, in Caldwell, and in 1974,
began farming near Parma.
Dennis was a member of the Midway
Bible Missionary
Church. He was also a reserve police officer on the Caldwell
Police Department, and had been honored as Reserve of the Year
in 1989. He had also been in the Canyon County Sheriff's
Reserve Program for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy, and two sons, Brian
and Brenton, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Baldwin of Caldwell; a brother, Larry of Homedale; two
sisters, Connie Eoff of Homedale and Dee Ann Watson of Nampa;
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Breshears of Caldwell; his
father and mother-in-law, Elwin and Ramona Holmes of Caldwell;
and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
Dennis was a wonderful Christian man. He will be missed
by his wife, children and family. He loved us and we knew it.
Memorials may be given to the family for an education
trust to be established for his children.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the
Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. |
