Cedric Caldwell

      Graveside services for Cedric A. Caldwell, 82, Parma, who died Tuesday, Sept. 18 of drowning near Parma, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Parma Cemetery.
      The Rev. Paul Evans of the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Parma, will officiate, under the direction of the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Fruitland.
      He was born March 21, 1902, in Curtis, Okla., the son of Loyd and Minnie Caldwell.  He was reared and educated in Oklahoma, and he married Marie Hilbig on Dec. 17, 1921, at Woodward
, Okla.
      They moved to Apple Valley near Parma in 1923, and to Parma in 1938.  She died in 1981.  He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Fishing Club of America.
      He is survived by one son, Kenneth; one daughter, Mrs. Leon (Vernadene) Murray, both of Parma; three sisters, Fern Johnston of Ogden, Utah, Helen VanLandingham, Yakima, Wash., and Lorene Wilson of Fruitland, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

      Friends may call at the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Parma, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday
