Funeral services for Cedric
Monroe Dickinson, 61, Middleton, who died of natural causes
Sunday at home, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at
Middleton Cemetery by the Rev. James W. Dougherty, Caldwell
First Church of God, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral
Chapel, Caldwell.
He was born Dec. 11, 1916, at Mount Sterling, Ill., son of
Paul Edward and Mary E. Peterson Dickinson, and was reared and
educated in Illinois. He moved to Nevada in 1932 and
worked on a surveying crew at Elko, Nev. He married
Luella Corey. He worked for Northrup King at Nampa for
11 years, retiring in 1968 due to ill health. His wife
died in 1968.
He married Marie Heironemus Dec. 20, 1975, at Winnemucca,
Nev. They lived in Meridian and later divorced. He
moved to Middleton in 1976.
Surviving are two sons, George of Blackfoot and Cedric M.
Jr.; three brothers, Melvin S. "Jack" of Springfield, Ill.,
John Paul, and George B. Dickinson of Fremont, Calif.; a
sister, Mrs. Thomas (Sallie) Ronk of Minneapolis; and two
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers. |
