Clifford H. Berkley

    ROSWELL - Services for Clifford H. Berkley, 65, Parma Route 3, who died Saturday at his home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sterry Memorial Presbyterian Church in Roswell by the Rev. Raymond Wilson, pastor.  Interment will be in the Roswell cemetery under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Caldwell.
    Born Nov. 1, 1907 in Twin Falls, he came to Roswell with his family in 1918, where he graduated from high school in 1926.  He graduated from Lewiston Normal School and the University of Idaho, and did graduate work at the University of California, the University of Idaho and The College of Idaho.  He was a member of Lemba Chi Alpha fraternity.  For 38 years he taught school in Idaho and Oregon.  He married Lennie Sponsler June 13, 1938 in Caldwell and they had lived in Roswell since.
    Surviving are his wife, of Roswell; a daughter, George Ann Stiles of Boise; a granddaughter; four sisters, Nancy McOmber of Caldwell and Ruth Berkley, Katherine McClanahan and Ethlyn Barrett, all of Spokane; and two brothers, Withington Berkley of Caldwell and Kenneth Berkley of Virginia Beach, Va.
