Cora Dilley

    Services for Cora Elizabeth Dilley, 85, Caldwell, who died Thursday. Aug. 29, at her home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at the Midway Bible Missionary Church, Ustick Road, Caldwell.  The Rev. George Roberts of the Bible Missionary Church and the Rev. Robert Ogden of the Notus Church of the Nazarene will officiate under the direction of the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Private interment will follow at Middleton Cemetery.
    Mrs. Dilley, a homemaker, was born March 2, 1900 in Missouri to William and Belle Gouch Shuee.  The family moved to West Virginia in 1902 and to Caldwell in 1908, where she was reared and educated.
    She married Clyde A. Dilley on April 2, 1918, in Caldwell where the couple made their home.  She worked for the lunch counter at Kings Variety Store for two years and cooked for Stibnite Rec-Hall, Stibnite, from 1947 to 1948. She worked for Klessler Rest Home in Caldwell until 1964 when she started the Dilley Rest Home which she operated until retirement in 1971.
    Mr. Dilley died July 7, 1975, in Caldwell.
    She enjoyed her vacation home in Lowman and was a member of the Midway Bible Missionary Church and the Midway Missionors Society. She and her husband were evangelistic singers in the Nazarene and Bible Missionary churches throughout the United States.
    She is survived by a son, the Rev. M. Clyde Dilley of Notus; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Louise Raymond of Caldwell; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three cousins and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maie E. Hartwell in 1966; one grandson, a great-grandson, two sisters and a brother.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, today until 6 p.m.
    Memorials may be given to the Midway Bible Missionary building Fund in care of Treasurer Ron Edwards, 1907 Alder St., Caldwell, 83605, or the Lowman Community Church Building Fund, HC-76, Lowman, 83637.
