Mrs. I. F. Travis
Succumbs In
Parma Monday

 

     Mrs. I. F. Travis, 83, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert H. Welbourn, two miles east of Parma Monday.  Her husband has been bedfast for a year at Mrs. Hussman's nursing home in Boise.
     Born at Fairbury, Ill., April 11, 1858, Mar. Travis came to Parma community from Omaha, Neb., about 25 years ago.  She was a member of the Methodist church in Nebraska.
     Survivors include besides her husband and the daughter at whose home she died, another daughter, Mrs. M. H. Rigney of Eagle Route 1; one son, Robert R. Travis, a dentist at the Veterans' hospital in Walla Walla, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret B. Crane of Omaha; Mrs. Katherine B. Davison of Los Angeles, Cal.; three granddaughters.
     The body is at the Peckham chapel in Caldwell.  Date of services are pending until work is received from her son at Walla Wall.  Interment will be in the Parma cemetery.
