Albert Deitrick

    Funeral services for Albert "Ray" Deitrick, 83, of Middleton, who died Wednesday, January 8, t992, at his home of natural causes, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 13,1992, at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Reverend Wayne Schuler of the First Baptist Church, Middleton, will officiate. Burial will follow at the Middleton Cemetery, Middleton, Idaho.
    Mr. Deitrick was born March 2, 1908, at Vinita, Oklahoma, a son of Albert Lee and Emma Grobe Deitrick He moved to Caldwell in 1934. He married Mildred Gamer in September of 1935 in Seattle, Washington. He worked for W.P.A. and also for a short period of time for his father-in-law, George Garner. He entered the contracting business in the Boise Valley, building new homes and doing remodel work. He also built special pieces of furniture for his children and grandchildren.
    Ray was a member of the Middleton Baptist Church for 42 years. He loved to fellowship with his church family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, building things, working with wood and most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
    He was always willing to help anyone who needed help. His lifetime motto was "Let Me Help You."
     Ray is survived by his wife, Mildred of Middleton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Thelma Deitrick of Caldwell. and Timothy Ray and Melody Deitrick of Homedale; four daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Wayne Walker of Boise, Janie and Dee Hooton of Washougal, WA, Virginia and Hoyt Davis of Caldwell, and Linda and Bub Kuster, Nampa; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bee Deitrick of Homedale; two sisters, Rose Simpson of Middleton and Mary Ann Kaderly of Caldwell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, one child and one grandchild.
