Parma Man Dies
At Boise Hotel

Alphonso Luther Hoagland, 56, or route 1, Parma,
pas(s)ed away at a Boise hospital Sunday afternoon. Funeral
services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the
Sterry Memorial church in Roswell with the Rev. Ostler officiating.
Interment will be in the Roswell cemetery.
Mr. Hoagland has been a resident of the upper Roswell
community for the past several years. He was taken to the
Boise hospital Thursday. The body is at the Peckham funeral
chapel in Parma.

in Boise Hospital

ROSWELL (Special) - Funeral services were held
Thursday afternoon from the Sterry Memorial Presbyterian church at
Roswell for Alfonso Luther Hoagland. Rev. Mr. Oastler was in
charge and interment was in the Roswell cemetery.
Mr. Hoagland passed away a week ago Sunday at St.
Luke's hospital in Boise. He had been taken to Boise the
preceding Thursday, where he submitted to an operation from which he
did not recover.
Mr. Hoagland was born July 12, 1876, in Indiana.
He came to Roswell about six years ago from Utah and since that time
had resided in upper Roswell. He is survived by two sons,
Henry and Lewis, both of whom are married.
