Audrey E. Stirm

     MIDDLETON - Mrs. Audrey Evolena Stirm, 55, Caldwell Route 1, died Monday evening at a Nampa nursing home following several months of illness.
     She was born May 30, 1912, at Emmett, Idaho, and at an early age she moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Knee, to Prineville, Ore.  She later moved to Crane Creek, near Payette, where she married Ivan Smith in 1928.  In 1937 she was married to Fred J. Stirm at Boise and they lived at Little Willow Creek until 1947.  They then moved to their farm near Middleton, where they had since resided.  She had been employed by Swift & Co. in Nampa and by the J.R. Simplot Co.  She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Caldwell.
      She is survived by her husband in Middleton;  four sons, Elvin E. Smith of Boise, Ivan M. Smith of Salt Lake City, Ronnie C. Smith of Eureka, Mont., and Milton F. Smith of Pocatello;  a daughter, Mrs. Myrle Tharp of Pocatello;  four brothers, Donald Knee of Chehalis,  Wash., Wesley Knee of McCall, Clifford Knee and Clarence Knee of Baker, Ore.;  two sisters, Mrs. Orpha Dyer of Durkee, Ore., and Mrs. Alta Zumalt of Roseville, Ore., and 15 grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
     Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel.  The Rev. R.L. William, pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy, Fresno, Calif., will officiate assisted by the Rev. Paul H. Thompson and The Rev. David Westberg.  Interment will follow at the Middleton Cemetery.
