Robert H. Ferguson

    HOMEDALE — Services for Robert H. Ferguson, 70, Homedale Route 1, who died Tuesday afternoon at his home after an apparent heart attack, will be conducted at Homedale's Flahiff Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday.
    The Rev. Clare Willcuts of the Homedale Friends Church will officiate. Interment will be at Wilder.
    Mr. Ferguson was born Nov. 28, 1899, in Taylorville, Ill., where he lived until moving with his parents to Homedale when he was 13. He attended Homedale schools. He married Lila Stover in Boise on July 2, 1925. They farmed until 1942, when they moved into Homedale, and he worked in construction with several firms until retiring in 1965 because of ill health.
    He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America Lodge.
    Surviving in addition to Mrs. Ferguson are two grandsons whom the couple was rearing, Kelly and Shanly Ferguson, both at home; two brothers, Clifford Ferguson of New Meadows and Kenneth Ferguson of Redwood City, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Golden Hopper of Portland, Mrs. Lucinda Gordon of Hayward, Calif., and Mrs. Othelle Hisey of Moses Lake, Wash. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia, and a son, Robert Ferguson.
