NAMPA
— Requiem Mass for Mrs. Ruth Ann Brubaker, 78, formerly of 905
10th Ave. S., Nampa, will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday
at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
She died Thursday
in a Caldwell hospital after an
extended illness.
Celebrant for the Mass will be the Rev. Father Henry
McCloskey, S.M. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary
Cemetery. The rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m. today at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
Mrs. Brubaker was born June 19, 1892, in
Tina, Mo., and was
graduated from Nebraska State Normal School
at Alliance, Neb, She began teaching school when she was
16 years of age, and taught for several years. She married
Charles Edward Brubaker in September 1912, at
Alliance. The couple moved to to
Nampa
in 1937. Mr. Brubaker died May 16, 1966, in Kingman, Ariz.
She lived in Nampa
until her illness, and had since been living at 2112 Circle
Drive, Caldwell.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, the Legion of Mary
and the Altar Society of the church.
Surviving are five
sons, Bob of Billings, Mont., Jack of Nampa, Edward of Salt
Lake City, Pat of Caldwell, and Eugene, in Germany; three
daughters, Mrs. William (Becky) Brown of Caldwell and Mrs.
Cecil (Frann) Richardson and Mrs. Cecil (Loretta) Howell, both
of Nampa; two brothers; seven sisters, 26 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter,
Mrs. Barbara Beutler. |
