Mrs. David Wilson
Of Greenleaf
Dies Sunday

     Mrs. Mary A. Wilson, 83, who with her husband David Wilson, homesteaded their present home near Greenleaf in 1908, died there Sunday afternoon about 1 o'clock.  Influenza contracted two weeks ago, followed by a heart attack, was reported as the cause of her death.  She was a birthright member of the Friends' church.
    Mary A. Jay was born at West Branch, Iowa in 1857, where she spent the first part of her life.  After graduation there, she taught school at Hubbard, Iowa.  On March 6, 1877, near Union, Iowa, she was united in marriage with David Wilson.  Mr. and Mrs. Wilson made their home at Hartford, near West Branch, until 1896, when they moved to La Grand, Iowa, living there until they came to the Boise Valley in 1908 and homesteaded their present county home.
   March 6, 1937, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversa4ry at their Greenleaf home, by holding open house for their friends.
    Survivors besides her husband are three sons, Arthur L. Wilson of Nampa; Vera S. Wilson of Portland; Glen W. Wilson of Winthrop, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph P. Jay of Nebraska City, Neb.   Arthur L. and Vern S. Wilson, were with their mother when she passed away.  Glen Wilson will be unable to come for the services.
    Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Greenleaf Friends' church, with the Rev. Milo C. Ross of Greenleaf assisted by the Rev. Fred Harris of Caldwell in charge.  Interment will be in the Greenleaf cemetery.  The body is at the Peckham Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
