Estolee Sharp

     A memorial service for Estolee Ellis Sharpe will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, on May 18, at Greenleaf Friends Church, preceded by private burial at 1:30 for family.
    Estolee Sharpe passed away January 12, 1996, in Newberg, Oregon.
    Estolee was born in Allen, Nebraska, December 13, 1910, to Ray and Nellie Tuning Ellis.  In 1926 she moved to Greenleaf, Idaho, with her parents and sisters.
    In 1929 Estolee graduated from Greenleaf Friends Academy, after which she attended Pacific College (now George Fox College) in Newberg, Oregon.
    She worked as a waitress and manager in restaurants in Caldwell, Burley, Idaho, and other locations.
    In 1940 Estolee married Milton Sharpe in Mt. Vernon. Washington.  Together they lived in California, Mexico City, Washington, and retired in Newberg, Oregon.  She loved music, flowers, and traveling.
    (She is survived by) Her husband, Milton Sharpe of Newberg, Oregon, and her sister, Ember Roberts of Nampa, Idaho, and numerous, nephews and nieces treasure memories of Estolee.
    Preceding her in death is her sister, Edith Comfort of Newberg, Oregon, formerly of Greenleaf, Idaho.
    In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial gifts be designated for Greenleaf Friends Academy.
