Jose Navarro

    NAMPA — Requiem Mass for Jose Navarro, 64, of 216 19th Ave. N., who died Sunday in a Nampa hospital, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    The Rev. Ellis Carver, S.M., will be celebrant. Interment will be at Mount Calvary cemetery. Rosary devotions will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Shepherd Mortuary Chapel.
    Mr. Navarro was born March 19, 1906, in Mexico and was reared in Idaho. He had been in the Nampa area since the age of 12, and worked as a sheepherder for many years and for the Union Pacific Railroad. Ill health forced him to retire in 1969. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Margaret M. Apodaca, Mrs. Gloria M. Garcia, Mrs. Linda M. Luna, Mrs. Delores M. Martinez, all of Nampa, and Mrs. Mary M. Beltren of Vancouver, Wash.; two sons, Manuel J.P. Navarro and Ramon J. Navarro, both of Nampa; a brother, Manuel Navarro of California; and 17 grandchildren.
