Funeral Service
For J. R. Ivie
Tuesday P. M.

     Funeral services for J. R. Ivie, 75, Middleton resident for several years, have been announced for 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Church of Christ, 16th and Everett streets in Caldwell, under direction of the Peckham Funeral home.
    Born in Jackson City, Ill., April 9, 1865, he came to Idaho when a young man.  Since living in the vicinity of Middleton, Ivie has been engaged in farming until his retirement early last year.
    Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ida Ivie of Middleton; seven daughters, Mrs. Fern McNaie, and Miss Wylene Ivie, both of Middleton; Mrs. Edith Grant and Mrs. Dee Moss, both of Caldwell; Mrs. Evelyn Arnold, Nampa; Mrs. Dot Mores of Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Ruth Crist of Cathalmet, Wash.; fours sons, William Donald Ivie, Fay E. Ivie, J. R. Ivie Jr., Orie Ivie, all of Middleton; 22 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
