James G. Sevy

    MARSING — Funeral services for James G. Sevy, 59, Marsing Route 1, who died on the way to a Caldwell hospital Monday night, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Peckham-Dakan Chapel in Caldwell. Brother George White of the Followers of Christ Church, Boise, will officiate. Interment will be at Wilder.
    Mr. Sevy was born March 6, 1908, in Rosston, Okla., and moved from Oklahoma to the Sunny Slope community with his parents in 1918. He moved to Wilder in 1927, and was married May 27, 1932, in Ontario, to Blanche Way. They farmed in the Fargo community near Wilder  for a number of years and moved to Marsing in 1951.
    He was a member of the Followers of Christ church.
    Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Sevy, are a son, David Sevy, Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs. Janet Horrace, Boise, and Miss Donna Sevy, Marsing; three brothers, Pete Sevy, Middleton, and Noah and Ross Sevy, both of Marsing; three sisters, Mrs, Edith Henkel, Nampa, Mrs. Florence Simianer, Union, Ore., and Mrs. Hazel Gorman; Oregon City, Ore., and six grandchildren. Three brothers, including Joe Sevy, Caldwell, preceded him in death.
