Dale Shaner

     Services for Dale Allen Shaner, 25, Ontario, who died Tuesday, Nov. 1, as the result of a truck accident south of Nyssa, were held today at the Nyssa First Christian Church with Pastor Wesley Waggoner officiating.
    Interment was in the Parma Cemetery under the direction of the Nyssa Lienkaemper Chapel.
    He was born Sept. 23, 1958, in Caldwell, the son of Don and Vera Shaner.  He was reared and educated in the Treasure Valley and attended school in Ontario.  He worked for the Payette Cider and Vinegar Plant in Fruitland.
    He married Sherri McArthur June 17, 1978, in Elko, Nev.  They made their home in Ontario.  He later worked for his father at Shaner Heating and Air Conditioning.  From there he worked at , Ontario Roofing, then to the Nyssa Co-op where he was employed at the time of his death.
    He is survived by his wife and two sons, Cameron Allen and Rick Lee Shaner; his parents; and one brother, all of Ontario; two sisters, Jeanne Gordon of Fruitland and Debbie Wilson of Nyssa; his grandparents, Herman and Ina Everett of Wilder; and two nieces and one nephew.
