Calvin Sitts

    Graveside services for Calvin R. Sitts, 61, Caldwell, who died Monday, Sept. 30, in a Houston, Texas, hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Wilder Cemetery.
    The Rev. Frank Prince of the Wilder Free Holiness Church will officiate under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Mr. Silts was born Aug. 16, 1924, in Iantha, Mo., the son of Willard and Iva E. Mattingly Sitts.  He came to Wilder at the age of 12, where he was reared and educated.  He served with the U. S. Navy during World War II from 1944 to 1946.
    He married Janet Lucas on Aug. 3, 1947, at Winnemucca, Nev.  He was a farm worker and owned the Westcott Oil Dealership in Wilder.  He worked in the lumber mills in the Roseburg, Ore., area.  In 1978, he worked on the construction project of the Valmy Power Plant in Nevada, until his retirement in 1980.
    He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; two brothers, Willard C. Sitts of Caldwell and Carol Sitts of Parma; one sister, Betty Ishibashi of Homedale and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Friends may call at the chapel today from 5 to 9 p.m.
