A. Jane Simpson

     A. Jane Simpson A. Jane Simpson, 64, of Caldwell died Monday, December 23, 1996, at a Caldwell care center.  Grave side services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 27, 1996 at the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
    Jane was born January 6, 1932, in Nampa, Idaho, a daughter of Samuel and Gustava Orr Henson.  She was raised and educated in Homedale.   On September 15, 1951, she married Verden Simpson in Winnemucca, Nevada.  They made their home in the Caldwell area.   Jane worked for the J. R. Simplot Co. for the first ten years of their marriage and later worked for the Crookham Co., retiring in 1991.  She enjoyed gathering things, such as rocks, driftwood and etc.
    Survivors include her husband, Verden "Corky" of Caldwell, a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kathleen Simpson of Homedale; a daughter and son-in-law, Katrina and Kelly Graham of Caldwell, three brothers, Sam Henson of Louisiana; Poke Henson of Homedale, and Jay Henson of Hood River, OR; a sister, Frankie Schierman of Homedale, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two brothers and two sisters.
    Friends may call on Thursday, December 26, 1996, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
    Memorials may be given to a favorite charity.
