Died

    Died - At Parma, Idaho, November 1, 1898, Robert B. Mitchell; age 82 years, 11 months and 13 days.
    Mr. Mitchel was born in Shelby county, Kentucky, November 24th, 1815, his parents moved to Salem, Indiana, when he was 8 years old, where he was married at the age of 24 years to Elizabeth S. Phelps, with whom he lived happily until the time of her death, January 5, 1897.
    In the year 1852 he moved to Marion county, Iowa, where he resided until 1881, when he moved to Raton, New Mexico where he resided only one year, moving to Boise valley in the year 1882, where he resided until the time of his death.  When quite a young man Mr. Mitchell was converted and joined the Baptist church at Salem, Indiana, and he lived a noble Christian life to the end.  The funeral was attended by a large number of friends and relatives, the services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. Hampton of the Caldwell church.  Mr. Mitchell had seven children, two of whom preceded him to the better world, and five remain t mourn his loss.  A. J. Mitchell, the eldest, resides at Parma, Idaho; Martha E. Clark at Raton, New Mexico; Dr. J. W. Mitchell at Superior, Nebraska; J. H. Mitchell at Ladora, Iowa, and Julia E. Norwood, the youngest, at Boise, Idaho.
