John Scott

     John Robert Scott, 38, of Parma, died Friday, April 6, 1990, at the home of a friend in Nampa.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, April 13 at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  The Rev. Frank Prince of the Free Holiness Church in Wilder will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Wilder Cemetery.
    Mr. Scott was born May 25, 1951 at Boise and was reared and educated at Nampa and Richfield, Idaho. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Following his honorable discharge he returned to Parma to make his home.  He was employed by the Wilder Police Department as a police officer for several years.  He was currently employed in Homedale at Filler King.
    He is survived by a son, John Robert Scott, Jr. of Homedale; his mother, Willa Scott of Parma; three brothers, Leroy Scott of Nampa and Forest and Ray Scott, both of Parma; three sisters, Lyla McDonald of Knightstown, Ind., Arlene Whitcanack of Independence, Mo. and Pauline Chase of Parma; and a number of nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and a sister.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 6 to 9 P.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
