In Memorium
    Isaiah R. Peterson died at the home of J. W. Price one mile east of Parma, December 18th, 1903, age 83 years, 9 months, 23 days.  The funeral was held at the home at 1 o'clock on Saturday, the Rev. Mr. Hayden officiating.  The remains were then laid to rest in the cemetery east of town,  He was born in Otsego Co., N. Y., February 25, 1820.  On January 12 1843, he was married to Keziah Norton in Erie county, Pennsylvania, who proceeded him to the better land nearly 32 years ago.  To this union was born eight children only three of whom are left to mourn his loss;  Mrs. Mabel White of Colorado, and Mrs. Emma Price and M. E. Peterson of this place.  He united with the M. E. church nearly 50 years ago, and has always been a faithful and consistent christian, a kind and loving father, one who always made children love him.
