Harry P. Sassaman

    Harry P. Sassaman, 79, of 5209 Targee Street, died Thursday in a local hospital after an extended illness.
     He was born in Hooper, Neb., on Aug. 18 1883, and spent his youth there.  He came to Idaho in 1928 and had farmed in Boise Valley since then.  He was married to Ruby Miles at Portland on May 29, 1929.
    He was a member of Mountain View Church of the Brethren.
    Mr. Sassaman is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Andrews of Boise, Mrs. Arlene Koons of Milton, Pa., and Mrs. Evelyn Duffell of Fresno, Calif.; a brother, Frank Sassaman of Westminster, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Averill and Mrs. Minnie Edgecomb of Nampa and Mrs. Iva Law of Belvedere, Neb.  He also had six grandchildren.
    Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at McBratney-Alden Chapel with Rev. M. F. Frantz officiating.  Interment will be at Roswell at 3:30 p.m.
