Frederick Schlieker Jr.

    Vigil services for Frederick Schlieker Jr., 61, of Sumner, Wash., formerly of Marsing, who died Saturday, April 23, at Sumner, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Father Merle Fisher, S.M., of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.  Interment will follow at the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
    He was born Dec. 11, 1921, at Sublet, Wyo.  He was reared and educated in Wyoming and in Marsing, Idaho.  He moved to the Tri-Cities area in Washington state in 1955, where he worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator, and to Enumclaw, Wash., in 1962.  In 1977 he moved to Sumner, where he has since resided and where he worked for Boeing and for the Enumclaw School District.
    He is survived by his wife, Mae, of Sumner; a son, Wayne F. Schlieker of Enumclaw; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Mary Jane) Douglass of Enumclaw; and Mrs. Dick (Freda) Zaviski of Auburn, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Aaron Salisbury of Marsing, and Mrs. James Smith of Enumclaw; and three granddaughters.
