CALDWELL — Services Clifford "Claude" Search, 91, of Payette,
who died Tuesday in a Payette nursing home, will be conducted
at Dakan Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Ernest
Chamberlain of the First Christian Church. Interment will be
at Lower Boise cemetery, near Notus. He
was born Nov. 26, 1881 in York County, Neb., and moved with
his father to Logan, Kan., when he was a child. He
married Mary Ella Dawes April 4, 1905 at Logan.
He operated a meat market and farmed in Kansas until 1936,
when he came to Idaho. Mrs. Search died in 1936 in
Idaho. He since had lived in Caldwell and Payette.
Surviving are four daughters; Dorothy Huffman of
Payette, Elsie Sweet of Caldwell, Beulah Johnston and Gladys
Johnston, both of Laramie, Wyo.; a sister, Vera Walters of
Whittier, Calif.; 27 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. |
