Soledad Reyes

     Funeral services for Soledad R. Reyes, 82, of Wilder, who died Sunday, April 26, 1992, at the Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 1992, at the Iglesia Evangelica Mexicana, 317 3rd St., Wilder, Idaho.  Reverend Conrado Rodriguez of Yakima, Washington, and Reverend Ruben Esquivel of Caldwell will officiate, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.  Burial will follow at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho.
    Mrs. Reyes was born April 8, 1910 at Villagran, Mexico. She was raised and educated in Monterrey, Mexico.  She immigrated to the United States with her parents during the early 1920s and lived in Raymondville, Texas.  She married Pedro Reyes-Vasquez on January 11, 1928, at Raymondville, Texas.  The couple lived in Edinburg, Texas, and then moved to Wilder in 1961 where they resided for the last 31 years.  Soledad was a member of the Iglesia Evangelica Mexicana at which her son is the pastor.
    Mrs. Reyes loved her God, family, community and church.  She loved doing things for her family and others.  She will be greatly missed by all.
    Survivors include three sons, Ramiro Reyes, Juan Reyes, and Pedro "Pete" Reyes Jr., their wives, Rebeca Reyes, Cleo Reyes and Alice Reyes, all of Wilder; two daughters, Guadalupe Rivera of Wilder and Delores Duenez and her husband, Antonio of San Antonio, Texas; 32 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Raul Reyes; a grandson, Rudy Rivera; and a brother, Octavio Rodriguez.
    Memorials may be made to the Iglesia Evangelica Church, P.O. Box 686, Wilder, Idaho 83676; or flowers may be sent.
    Friends may call today from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
