Retired Middleton Farmer Dies |
Lee Kurtz, 76, a retired farmer of the
Middleton community, died Monday September 4, at the home of
his niece, Mrs. James Morris in Boise, following a month's
illness. The body was brought to the
Peckham Funeral Chapel in Caldwell and services have been
arranged for Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 in the Middleton
Baptist church, with the Rev. C. A. Quinn of Middleton in
charge. Burial will be in the Middleton cemetery.
Survivors besides the niece at whose home he died are
another niece, Mrs. Pearl Clark of Meridian; one brother,
Otis Kurtz, Middleton. Mr. Kurtz was
born in Iowa on May 10, 1863 and came to Idaho in 1882
locating near Caldwell, where he has made his home most of
the time.
