Loren Pugsley

    Funeral services for Loren F. Pugsley, 48, of Caldwell, who died Monday, May 25, 1992, at the Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 1992, at the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church, Caldwell.  Pastor K.D. Cole will officiate with Pastor Jay Ralphs assisting.  Burial will follow at the Greenleaf Cemetery, Greenleaf, Idaho, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Mr. Pugsley was born June 3, 1943, at Holyoke, Minnesota, a son of Lester and Orrie Ford Pugsley. He moved to Caldwell at the age of 2 1/2 and attended school at the Huston Grade School and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1962.  He married Marlene Dillon on August 13, 1965, in Caldwell.  He had worked full time at the Amalgamated Sugar Co. since 1970 and for several winters prior to becoming a full-time employee.  Loren had served with the Air National Guard.
    He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, water skiing, playing games and family gatherings.  He raised calves and enjoyed watching them grow.  One of Loren's favorite things to do was to eat apple pie and ice cream.
    He attended the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church most of his life.
    Survivors include his wife, Marlene of Caldwell; a son, Michael Todd of Coeur d'Alene; a daughter, Machele Kay of Caldwell; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Pugsley of Caldwell; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Roberta Pugsley and their daughters, Gina and Robyn, all of Renton, Washington, and Ron and Claudia Pugsley and their two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kirk and Sheryl Pugsley and Aaron Pugsley, and a daughter, Rebecca Pugsley, all of Caldwell; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dallas and Faye Dillon of Caldwell.  The family Suggests that memorials be given to Deer Flat Free Methodist Church, 17703 Beet Road, Caldwell, or to West Valley Medical Center Hospice Program.
