Notus, Parma
Pioneer Dies

     James Clarence Glennon, 65, pioneer resident of the Notus and Parma community, died Wednesday night at a local hospital.  The body is at the Peckham Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at the Peckham Chapel Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the Rev. George G. Roseberry of the Methodist church in charge of the services.  Interment will be in the Tucker cemetery.
    Surviving relatives are his widow, Mrs. Amanda C. Glennon; three daughters, Mrs. Hilta Smith, Caldwell; Mrs. Audren Fowell, Kuna; Mrs. Grace Huett, Pasadena, Cal.; three sons, Fred Glennon, Cascade; Edward G. Glennon and Harold G. Glennon, both of Caldwell; two brothers, John and Ed Glennon, both of Garden Valley; one sister, Mrs. Anna Lent, Canby, Ore.; ten grandchildren.
    Mr. Glennon was born, May 12, 1873 at Garden Valley, Ida., where he lived until he was 19 years old, before coming to Parma, where he has made his home continuously since that time.
