Hospicio Ramos
Hospicio P. Ramos, 19, of Nampa, died Thursday,
September 9, 1992, due to injuries received in an automobile
accident south of Nampa. Vigil Services will be
celebrated at 7 p.m. today, Sept. 13, at Persons-Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Nampa, with the Rev. Father Henry Carmona as
celebrant. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at St. Paul's Catholic Church,
Nampa, by the Rev. Father Alfred Puccinelli, S.M. Burial
will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
Hospicio was born March 9, 1973, in Caldwell, Idaho, a son
of Arthur P. and Juanita Luna Ramos. He grew up and
attended grammar school in Salinas, Calif. At the age
of 12, he moved to Nampa to live with his mother and
grandmother, Jane Luna, where he attended South Jr. High and
Nampa High Schools. Hospicio wasn't very active in school,
but he did have many friends, where among them he met his
Rosaura, who later became his wife, and together they had a
baby girl named Juana Maria Ramos, whom he loved with all
his heart. He enjoyed the outdoors and cooking, but
most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was loved dearly by his family and that love was returned
by his loving, caring and helping hand. Hospicio was a
son, brother, husband, father and a true friend; everyone
will miss him deeply. Survivors
include his wife, Rosaura of Nampa; one daughter Juana Maria
Ramos of Nampa; his mother and father, Juanita Ramos of
Nampa and Arthur P. Ramos of Yakima, Wash.; four sisters,
Tanya Ramos of Yakima, Wash. and Stephanie, Melissa, and
Crystal Ramos, all of Nampa; maternal grandparents, Jane and
Fermin Luna of Nampa; paternal grandparents, Hospicio and
Emma Ramos of Salinas, Calif. six aunts, Mary Luna of Nampa
and Yolanda Luna of Fresno, Calif. Linda Segundo and Betty
Plaza, both of Salinas, Calif. Emma Leutierio of San Jose,
Calif. and Rose Sena of Norwalk, Calif.; five uncles, Fermin
Luna, Jr., and Joe Luna, both of Nampa, Bert Segundo and
Ernie Plaza of Salinas, Calif, and Joe Sena of Norwalk,
Calif.; a cousin, Micky Luna of Nampa and several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his uncle,
Tiburcio Vidales, and his best friend, Robert J. Arellano.
